DESCRIPTION: The Muskoka Rustic Grade Hard Maple offers moderate to intense color contrast and variety of natural character. This flooring brings the spirit of the forest into your home by containing all natural color variations of bright white sapwood and medium to dark heartwood. Matches best with traditional, rustic room styles. Sound knots with slight checks are limited by size and quantity. Character marks, surface blemishes birdseye are permitted. This flooring is easily nailed/stapled over wood subfloors on or above grade only, and is pre-finished with 8 coats of factory applied Aluminum Oxide finish. Rustic Grade assures you more of a total natural appearance that wood has, showing sometimes dramatic color variations between boards and possibly small knots particular to that wood species.
