DESCRIPTION: If your looking for the most uniform color in a Cherry floor, I would highly recommend the Muskoka Cherry Clear grade. It is truly one of the the prettiest and best of all the brands of cherry there is. A consistently rich red color that gently deepens with age. This grade consists of 100% light red to dark reddish brown heartwood. The refined look of cherry suits elegant settings while the rich warm tones also suit informal environments. Infrequent tiny sound knots with small checks are allowed but are limited by size and quantity. Muskoka flooring is easily nailed/stapled down over wood subfloors on or above grade only and is pre-finished with 8 coats of factory applied Aluminum Oxide finish. Cherry floors being a softer wood species should not really be installed in high trafficed areas. These 3/4 inch thick solid boards are hand picked to assure more uniformity of color within that particular wood species.
